Acceptance of Terms

The use of services from Litehost is strictly on your acceptance and adherence to these Terms. All Terms apply to all users, guests and anyone who uses our Services, and if you disagree with any part of these Terms then you may not have the right to use our Services.

User Agreement

It is mandatory for every user to agree to our Terms and usage of Services in order to have access to them. We don't permit investment sites (FOREX, e-gold exchange), lottery sites, hacker-dedicated sites/files/programs, "high-yield investment programs" (HYIP) (Ponzi websites), mail bombers and spam scripts, escrow, illegal money-making sites, betting, hate sites, or sites promoting illegal activities.

Litehost has the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service including, but not limited to the database or content, at any time for any reason. We have the right to refuse service to anyone. Any content that, in our finding, is offensive, threatening, unlawful, or infringes on our terms of service in any way may be put on hold or completely terminated from our servers with or without notice.

Litehost reserves the right to revise or change these Terms from time to time by posting the updated terms on our Site. It is your obligation to check the Terms intermittently for modifications. If you object to any such changes, your only choice will be to cease using our Services.

Prohibited and Forbidden Activities

All illegal, unauthorized, and fraudulent activities are forbidden on Litehost. Users are not allowed to use Litehost and its services for any illicit and unlawful transactions.

In its sole recourse, Litehost has the right to terminate or refuse completion of a transaction for users found guilty of the following:

• Theft or infringement of intellectual property — you are not allowed to publish, copy, or distribute content belonging to another user or third party. This includes books, music, movies, software, data, or any other copyrighted work.
• Use of illegal data crawlers, bots, spiders, or any other crawling tools to acquire, process, or copy content from any platform to associate with Litehost.
• Harm or attack on anyone's rights, including racial attacks, gender harassment, discrimination, assault on the physically disabled, or any kind of vile behavior.

Account Setup

For anyone to access and use our services, you are required to register an account. Your account will be set up after we have confirmed your payment and carried out a proper check on your order(s), in order to avoid fake orders. During registration, ensure to provide a primary email address; this enables us to contact you in case of any abuse or breach of terms of service. If you choose to register your account with false information, Litehost may terminate your account once we detect such activity, with or without warning, and without a refund.

You are not allowed to use an unlawful entity or the name of another person without proper authorization, or any unpleasant, vulgar or X-rated name during registration. You are responsible for all activities carried out through your Account unless such activities were not approved by you (report these to our support team for immediate scrutiny).

Service Level

We target a 99.9% monthly uptime for our hosting services, supported by redundant cooling, backup generators and round-the-clock monitoring. Scheduled maintenance, events outside our reasonable control, and issues caused by your own code or third-party software are excluded.

If we materially miss this target in a given calendar month, contact support@getlitehost.com and we will review account credits on a case-by-case basis.

Domain Name Registration

Ensure to confirm that the domain name you intend to purchase on our site does not encroach on any other domain name or trademark of a third party. Any domain name clash relating to your domain name will be fixed in accordance with our Copyright Infringement Policy.

Transfers

Moving your sites or domains to us does not guarantee that the process will take only a short period of time. Each hosting company differs, and some platforms save data in an incompatible or proprietary format, which makes some account data challenging to transfer. Our transfer team will make every effort to help you move your site to us, but in some cases we might not be able to do so.

Termination or Suspension of Free Domain

In short: a free domain included with an eligible plan stays registered while your hosting subscription is active; if you do not renew your hosting, the free domain may be suspended or released, and you are responsible for backing up your own data.

• Free domain with eligible plans: some hosting plans include a free domain registration for the first year.
• Hosting renewal requirement: to keep the free domain, you must keep your hosting subscription with Litehost active and renewed.
• Termination or suspension: if the hosting subscription is not renewed, Litehost reserves the right to terminate or suspend the free domain registration without further notice.
• Effect: in the event of termination or suspension, you may lose access to the associated domain and any related services.
• Data and content: Litehost is not responsible for any loss of data or content associated with a terminated or suspended domain. It is your responsibility to back up and retrieve any necessary data.
• Right to refuse renewal: Litehost retains the right to refuse the renewal of hosting services and the associated free domain at its sole discretion.
