The honest part

Where Namecheap is stronger

If one of these is what you need, they are the better choice and you should take it.

A 30 day money back window. We do not offer one.

Monthly billing, where we are annual only.

Amsterdam is closer to Lagos than our Sydney region.

First year domain prices we do not try to match, because ours are priced to renew at the same number.

The other side

Why people look for a Namecheap alternative

Renewal pricing complaints grew after the May 2026 increase.

Support escalation past first line chat is a recurring frustration in reviews.

Drawn from public reviews on Trustpilot and HostAdvice, read 27 July 2026.

Switching

You do not have to take our word for it
